As the sole designer on such a complex project, my role went far beyond “making it pretty”— it was about building a system that reduces user anxiety and prevents costly mistakes.

• I designed a “copy-paste” friendly interface, keeping payment details isolated and easy to tap, so users can avoid typos without breaking their flow.

• I introduced status feedback loops to boost user confidence and cut down on abandonment — like countdown timers that clarify time-sensitive windows, status badges for recipients, a clear progress indicator, and simple instructions on how to fix errors without losing money.

• I smoothed out the QR-to-mobile handoff, making the transition between devices feel effortless and seamless.
